A Poem

Through the darkest days, and the brightest nights, I am there.

I’m here sitting, I carry no fear for I am the feared.

Within the reaches of my mind, I’m lost as I’m trying to find the peace I crave.

However the only peace I found, are the hobbies that keep my feet on the ground.

May these little pass times that I seem to crave, help keep me away from an early grave.

I don’t normally share poetry, or even write it much anymore. However I sat here and wrote something that I think is kind of important in this day and age. We all deal with darkness in some form or another, and while it’s hard to deal with sometimes, we have to remember that we’re not alone. We have friends, families, our hobbies, and all kinds of resources to seek out the help we need. If you, or someone you know is struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, or any of the many psychological illnesses we face today, please try to help them any way that you can. Below you can find some help hot lines. As someone who has faced some of these issues, I can assure you that your life is important, and ending it early is not an answer.
